The year 2025 - Birthday and Conferences
Let's take a moment to think about what happend in 2025. Beside shipping six versions of our plugins, we helped a lot of people with tools to implement electronic invoices, we added Saxon support and we visited seven conferences.
25 years of Monkeybread Software
This year we had a great party with lots of family, friends and clients. We enjoyed some fine cake, a barbecue buffet for dinner, some nice presentations and the children had a big bouncy castle. Over 90 guests came to congratulate us.
The next birthday is coming up with 20 years of MBS Plugin in September 2026.

Every conference is different with the kind of developers attending, the languages spoken, the Claris staff showing up, the type of venue and hospitality. Beside the conference, we try to meet-up with other developers on the evenings before/after to exchange ideas, learn what people could need and cultivate friendships.

To be added soon is EngageU coming back to Malmö in November. Claris Japan will probably do a conference again in November in Tokyo. And I would expect the FileMaker developers in Québec to return with their conference in June. We await their announcements to add them to our events table.
We look forward to visit a few of them. If you organize a conference, please consider announcing it at least six months in advance, better a full year. This helps people to decide when to plan their vacations.
2026 will be special as there is no Claris Engage in the USA. The next one will be in 2027. So take your budget for the Claris conference and visit one or two of the community organized events around the globe.
